Alloy Tubing has superior tensile strength and toughness.  It also provides a high strength to weight ratio.

4130 and 4140 alloy tubing is easiest of the common alloy grades to be machined, with a minimal stock allowance for clean-up. It has excellent machining characteristics and is a medium carbon alloy.

Easily heat treatable to a broad range of strengths, machineabilities, and hardness's.

Alloy tubing can be manufactured to a large range of OD and wall thickness dimensions due to it being rolled bar and pierced or cold drawn.
